Bonjour Les Amis,

As of today, our trip to France is only 129 days away—just a little over 4 months from now.   So much to do and so little time!  We want to thank everyone who was diligent and speedy to sign up so quickly for this trip.  We broke a record with TSA as far as number of people signing up in such a short amount of time, so KUDOS to our travelers.  Every traveler has received the $100 discount for being an early bird!

We are fully booked, as of September 14.  Our first booking price for the France trip was $3853.  Since we have reached our sales goal, the price is now $3650, minus another $100 for the early sign-up, making the final price $3550.   TSA will have already subtracted your $100 discount in your billing.  You will pay only the $3550.  (Those purchasing the extra insurance will owe an additional $270.) Remember to avoid a late fee, you must be paid in full by Jan.4, 2016.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Sherry or Connie by phone or email.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.        If you have not applied for a passport, do so this week!  If you live in Irving, the post office on Irving Blvd. issues passports.  Your passport should be valid at least six (6) months beyond the dates of your trip.  Many airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.

2.       If you are on Facebook, please go to Delta Dawn Travels on FB and “like” us.  This will be a good forum for DDT interaction!  Fais-le.

3.       Mark your calendars for our world famous Delta Dawn Travels trip meetings!   They are the social events of the season, sans aucun doute!  The first meeting is on Saturday, January 23^rd at 6:00 PM at Sherry Boone’s home.  The second meeting is on Saturday, February 27^th, also at 6:00 PM at Sherry Boone’s home.  Soyez-y!   We will send out evites a couple of weeks prior to each meeting with address, phone and details.  If you are unable to attend these meetings, please know that we live-stream the meetings so you will be able to get all the info, but not the food!!!

4.       Periodically, we post our DDD’s---Delta Dawn Details through email and Facebook.  These are important bits of info for our travelers, and some may even involve a prize, so keep up with our DDD’s!

5.       Watch the exchange rates for the USD to Euro.  The Euro has gone down about 5 cents since September.  When we were in Eastern Europe in March, the Euro was at $1.05 USD.  This is a very good rate.  Anything lower than $1.10 is really good.  Purchase when low if you are planning on taking Euros with you.  More info on this at our meetings.
